Heartbeat

Breathing, heartbeat and music.

These three actually go together! The same part in the brain that receives and processes music also receives and control vitally important bodily functions like breathing and heart beat! The importance of music should not be overlooked, as I am sure the HOF worship team will be able to confirm.

Through hard work and dedication Mollie, Jeane and the rest of our worship team has reached heights that everyone thought impossible. And it all happened in only two short years!

So what is the vision going forward? In short, the vision is to have our own music school!!! A school where people from all ages are being taught to play instruments and to sing, if they have the commitment and have a passion for music.

A school where we learn all about music and how it connects to worship, the power that lies within that music and how to cultivate our gift.

The dream is to start out with music lessons and band sessions, but to end with the first Christian School of the Arts in South Africa.

This will be a school where students get taught in the arts instead of the subject they so despise in school and university. Music, Dance, Drama, Art....

A name? well, I am not entirely sure about that yet but ,for the moment, lets call it the Listen to My Heartbeat music project. Together as a family we will see how this grows. Regards and blessings! Sharné Mostert
